Death Fire
LesserDeath Fire · Death — Lesser Shadow Spirit
The lowest rank among shadow spirits, known by names such as Death Fire and Death. It manifests spontaneously in places imbued with the energy of death — graveyards, battlefields, ruins. Appears as a small dark flame, possessing a faint ability to absorb the life force of its surroundings. Its will is simple but it is instinctively drawn to living things.

Shade
IntermediateShade — Intermediate Shadow Spirit
The intermediate rank of shadow spirits. Takes shadow as its body and can appear from any shadow. Similar to a human silhouette but always existing on the opposite side from light. Has no voice and expresses intent only through actions; does not appear in mirrors. Considered the optimal performer of shadow reconnaissance, and in darkness, physical attacks are nearly ineffective against it.
Sprite
GreaterSprite — Superior Shadow Spirit
The superior rank of shadow spirits. Possesses the ability to absorb and sculpt light itself, capable of generating complete darkness over a wide area. Appears in humanoid form but its body is composed of darkness, feeling as though one's hand sinks in upon touch. Highly intelligent and cold-blooded, it instinctively perceives an opponent's weaknesses.

Void Shade
SupremeVoid Shade — Supreme Shadow Spirit
The supreme rank of shadow spirits, positioned just below the Archane Spirit King, embodying the absolute void (Void) without light. Magic becomes unstable around it and space itself is warped. Appears as a perfect black humanoid that reflects no light whatsoever; approach induces a pressure as if everything will be absorbed.

Archane
Spirit KingArchane — Shadow Spirit King
The pinnacle of shadow spirits, the Spirit King. It is the counterpart to the Light Spirit King Ignis Fatuus, each governing opposing sides of the world. Merely speaking its name aloud is said to deepen the surrounding darkness. It controls darkness and void itself through will. Though misunderstood as evil, it is in truth an indispensable balancer governing the world's darkness.
