Nymph
LesserNymph — Lesser Forest Spirit
The lowest rank among forest spirits. A small spirit dwelling in trees, flowers, and grass — one of the spirits most familiar to humans. Appears in the form of a young girl or fairy, strongly bound to a specific tree or flower. Weakens when its bound plant is harmed; grows stronger when lovingly tended.

Grand Sylvan
SupremeGrand Sylvan — Supreme Forest Spirit
The supreme rank of forest spirits. Connected to all of a continent's forests rather than a single forest, it executes the will of the Dryad Spirit King. Its body is composed of branches from a World Tree thousands of years old, and a great tree grows on the spot where it kneels. Witnesses report that flowers bloomed in its footprints as it walked.

Dryad
Spirit KingDryad — Forest Spirit King
The pinnacle of forest spirits, the Spirit King. Governs all plants, trees, and forests of the world, controlling the cycle of nature through will. Shares its name with the Greek Dryad but its status approaches that of a deity. Appears as a massive humanoid composed of trees, and wherever it steps, even barren land instantly becomes a lush forest. Shows extreme hostility toward civilization that destroys nature.

Sylvan
GreaterSylvan — Superior Forest Spirit
The superior rank of forest spirits. Rather than a single tree, it governs an entire forest as its conscious domain. Appears in humanoid form with antlers and bark-textured skin, its appearance changing with the seasons — flowers in spring, lush leaves in summer, autumn foliage in fall, bare branches in winter. Tests those who enter the forest and causes the unworthy to permanently lose their way.

Hamadryad
IntermediateHamadryad — Intermediate Forest Spirit
The intermediate rank of forest spirits. A spirit fully bound to a single tree, more powerful than a Nymph but with equally greater dependency on its own tree. Dwells in ancient trees hundreds of years old, taking a half-human, half-tree form with bark-like skin and branch-like hair. Shows no mercy to those who threaten its tree.
