The superior rank of forest spirits. Rather than a single tree, it governs an entire forest as its conscious domain. Appears in humanoid form with antlers and bark-textured skin, its appearance changing with the seasons â flowers in spring, lush leaves in summer, autumn foliage in fall, bare branches in winter. Tests those who enter the forest and causes the unworthy to permanently lose their way.
Origin
Takes its name from the Roman forest god Silvanus. In Druid culture, Sylvan was worshipped as the forest guardian spirit and contracts were attempted with it.
