Witnesses testify that 'it seemed as though light itself had taken human form.'

Nitrass — Superior Light Spirit

The superior rank of light spirits. Emits intense light approaching sunlight, completely clearing darkness from its surroundings. When appearing in humanoid form, light radiates from its entire body, making it difficult to look at directly. Instinctively induces fear in shadow beings and is known as the spiritual pillar for holy knights in crusades.

Will-o'-the-Wisp — Intermediate Light Spirit

The intermediate rank of light spirits. A mysterious light witnessed in marshes and wastelands; legend holds that those who directly see it gain the ability to perceive truth. Possesses dual abilities — creating illusions to deceive opponents, and exposing lies. Emotional and introverted, it loves beauty and despises falsehood.

Friar's Lantern · Jack-o'-lantern — Lesser Light Spirit

The lowest rank among light spirits, known by two names: Friar's Lantern and Jack-o'-lantern. It appears as a small flickering light in marshes or dark forests. Its will is faint, instinctively producing light, but without any sense of direction — while guiding travelers along a path, it often leads them deeper into a maze.

Ignis Fatuus · Ignis — Light Spirit King

The pinnacle of light spirits, the Spirit King. Also known by the abbreviated name Ignis. Despite a name meaning 'false fire,' it is the absolute being governing all light in the world. It does not perish as long as the sun does not set, and myths passed down through various civilizations tell of the Light Spirit King awakening and restoring balance each time darkness sought to consume the world.
